Elena Chernova
Ballerinas
Born in Kurgan. In 2008, graduated from the Vaganova Russian Ballet Academy, where she studied under T. A. Udalenkova. From 2008 to 2010, performed at Konstantin Tachkin's St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre. From 2010 to 2011, performed at Manila Ballet in the Philippines as a guest soloist. From 2011 to 2012, was part of the troupe at the Novosibirsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre. Notable performances include one of the Three Shades in La Bayadère, Flower Girl in Don Quixote, Female Bandit in Carmen, Medora, and Odalisque trio in Le Corsaire, Medea's Double in Medea, and Fairy of Tenderness and Gemstone in The Sleeping Beauty.
Became a ballerina at the St. Petersburg State Academic Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre in 2012. Principal at the Theatre since 2015.
