Tatyana Tkachenko

Tutor

Born in Leningrad (currently St. Petersburg). In 2000, graduated from the Vaganova Russian Ballet Academy, class of Lyubov Kunakova, Honoured Artist of the RSFSR. After joining the Mariinsky Theatre troupe the same year, progressed from corps de ballet performer to soloist. Won the Hope of Russia award twice, in 1998 and 2005. Studied for leading roles under Ninel Kurgapkina, People’s Artist of the USSR, up to 2009.

Since February 2025, has been tutoring dancers at the St. Petersburg State Academic Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre.
