From March 13 to March 17, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Company went on a tour to Turkey. The dancers performed for three nights, giving the audience a chance to see the Swan Lake ballet — a universally acknowledged world-class masterpiece, with music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov.
The dance shows were held at one of TIM SHOW CENTER's auditoriums. As of today, TIM SHOW CENTER is Istanbul's largest multicultural business centre; since 2005, it has acted as a perfect platform for large-scale concerts; theatre and film festivals; dance, drama, and movie premières; modern art and photography exhibitions; art performances; international events; and research conferences.
The parts of Odette and Odile were performed by Alla Bocharova on March 14, Anna Naumenko on March 15, and Darya Elmakova on March 16.
