On November 8, Andrey Sorokin, principal at the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre and winner of several international contests, made his début as Duke Albert in the Giselle fantasy ballet, with music by Adolphe Adam and choreography by Jean Coralli, Jules Perrot, and Marius Petipa.
