This March, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Company visited Tallinn during a tour to Estonia . On March 21, members of the company performed Swan Lake, a ballet classic with music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, at the Rahvusooper Estonia (Estonia National Opera). A renewed rendition of the Swan Lake ballet, with original choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov and scenery by Vyacheslav Okunev, was shown at the main stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre on March 14 and 15. The main parts, Odette/Odile and Prince Siegfried, were played by the principals of the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre.


The first series of rehearsals for the upcoming premiere of Sleeping Beauty, overseen by Jean-Guillaume Bart, a renowned French ballet director, choreographer, and tutor, began on April 27 and will last until March 5.


On February 25 and 27, members of the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Company will take part in the series of concerts in tribute to Maya Plisetskaya, which will take place at the BAM OPERA HOUSE in New York as part of the Mariinsky Theatre's tour in the USA.


Starting from February 19, members of the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Company will rehearse for the premiere performance: Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, staged by Jean-Guillaume Bart, a renowned French danseur, choreographer, and teacher. The performance is to be accompanied by an orchestra.


From January 19 to February 4, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Company toured across Switzerland and France with its classical rendition of Giselle, as well as with this season's premiere show, the One-Act Ballet Recital, which comprised the Chopiniana choreographic suite, Grand pas from Paquita, and The Rehearsal ballet.
