Our Italian Tour Begins

Upon completing its successful journey to France, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre is getting ready to open its doors to the Italian public, starting off a new tour with a Don Quixote production in Modena on February 26.

Nominated for 7 prizes by the expert judging panel of the Russian National Golden Mask Award, Johan Kobborg's version of the ballet masterpiece by Marius Petipa will be presented at the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti in the community of Modena. Later on, the characters of this renowned ballet will appear twice before the theatre-goers of Parma, while the public in Ferrara and Udine will get a chance to appreciate The Sleeping Beauty staged by Jean-Guillaume Bart. To culminate the Italian tour, our ballet company will dazzle the cities of Perugia, Lugo, and Ravenna with a series of magnificent Galas, and then bid goodbye to the Italian public (at least, until the next season) on March 17.
