Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre Gets Invited to Make a Lengthy Tour across France and Switzerland

After a resounding success in France, where the company performed to a full house in the cities of Montauban and Sisteron, during the Danse en Place'S and Les Nuits de la Citadelle festivals in late July, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre was invited to make a more prolonged tour across France and Switzerland.

During the summer tour across France, the company had taken part in two festivals, showcasing Anton Pimonov's one-act ballet In the Rhythm of Dreams, the Vestris and Sextet choreographic miniatures by Leonid Yacobson, and two ballet excerpts: the Venetian Carnival Grand Pas de deux from Satanella and Pas de deux from Corsair (choreography by Marius Petipa).

This season's tour of France and Switzerland is scheduled for winter and is to last for more than a month, from January till early February. It will start with New-Year performances at the Palais des festivals et congres de Cannes, home of the legendary International Film Festival.
