What's On

In December 2019, the St. Petersburg State Academic Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre released a new premiere: The Queen of Spades ballet, a neoclassical production by the renowned danseur and choreographer Iñaki Urlezaga (Argentina), who was inspired by a story by A.S. Pushkin.

On October 5, during the St. Petersburg Theatre Tours, which were part of the International Theatre Olympics 2019 programme, the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre performed Marius Petipa's version of Giselle, a masterpiece of choreographic Romanticism, in Vladikavkaz.

We will present one of the public's most beloved ballets, which is part of the tradition of immersing yourself into the magical festive spirit, at historic venue of the Mariinsky Theatre and at the Lensoviet Palace of Culture.

On October 18, the theatre-goers from Vladivostok will see Leonid Yacobson's Choreographic Miniatures for the very first time.
