The Hermitage Recitals of the Leonid Yacobson Theatre. The Spring Concert

This special recital is a gift to all women for International Women's Day. It includes Michel Fokine's inspirational Chopiniana, with an original set by Olga Shaishmelashvili, along with several choreographic masterpieces by Leonid Yacobson: The Gossips and The Lovers, both humorous and full of character, and the masterfully staged classical miniatures with an enchanting romantic flair.

As an extra bonus, the audience will be able to appreciate the beauty of the Hermitage theatre, commissioned by Catherine the Great and designed by the Italian architect Giacomo Quarenghi. In ages past, the crème de la crème of Saint Petersburg's high society gathered here to marvel at the most brilliant stars of the world stage. These fine traditions are still alive today.
